About me

My name is Wil Davies and I am 27 years old and I live here in the UK. I have been painting and wargaming since I was 11 years old. I remember my introduction to the hobby was on the school bus one morning when a friend of mine produced from his school bag a squad of half painted Space Orks, from that moment on I was hooked. I dread to think how much pocket money I spent on the hobby as a child, but I have fond memories of my friends and I scraping together all the money we could find so that we could each get the latest boxed games like Necromunda on the day of release and then group all the scenery together to have mamouth battles in the garage at my parents house. I have mostly played Games Workshop games for the 16 years. Painting the figures is now my real passion, but I do find some time in my hectic schedule to play the occasional battle. My personal armies for GW are currently the Imperial Guard for which I have invented my own Imperial World and Imperial Regiment based on the fabulous new Forgeworld figures for the Death Korps of Kreig. I also have a fledgling Blood Angel Army too. For the world of Warhammer I am currently collecting a mighty Night Goblins Army. The new mini's being released are stunning. I have recently started posting my mini’s on coolminiornot.com, thanks to all of you who have voted!
